Here's a quick transcription I did of the video interview in case you're having any trouble watching it for whatever reason!

"It definitely has slightly lighter elements, but the thing that gives it it's gravitas and it's weight that no other superhero film really has except for maybe all the way back to Donner's Superman, is the space opera element and how much of it takes place in space."

"That's something people arent expecting, or havent seen in a movie like this before, and I think that Martin Campbell has executed it perfectly and Ryan Reynolds is really phenomenal in the role and I think people will really enjoy it."

Green Lantern is set to be released on June 17, 2011!

Since I attend the CBM has said about removing the white gloves of Hal would be the right thing to do, and now I insist that they also remove the red underwear of Superman. Resistance is futile!

Did Berlanti have to use the word gravitas? I mean really, now I have doubts about this movie.

I'm digging what I've heard so far. Green Lantern almost has to take place in space. It's just such a large part of the character. I want to see what the Guardians look like. Big blue heads in robes maybe doesn't translate well to the screen. We'll see. Not a fan of the costume though.
