Now most of this is made up of my own bias.Personally I only liked the movie because it was Green Lantern but the storyline was crap graphics were crap the only thing that the graphics did good by was OA. Now I’ll just get strait into it the costume they [meaning producers etc.] didn't want a rubber costume cause they wanted it to be made out of pure energy that’s were the screwed up the first time, what they should of done is go with the rubber and just add some c.g.i like a smart company would do hence why marvel has done somewhat better in the film making industry they didn’t think that one through. Now with parallax I’m sure any good Green Lantern fan would know that the original parallax is hal Jordan himself that’s where they screwed up a second time if they were gonna do a member of the council how the hell does he become a gas monster he should have stayed the same and just made him have yellow lightning coming from his eyes and a whole lot more sinister.

Now the story was horrible. At the beginning it had this big lead up the anticipation was building, my heart slowed i was going to explode this was going to be epic but there was no climax [that sounded dirty but just bear with me]that’s were the story had a flaw and lastly but no least Personally I only liked the movie because it was Green Lantern but the storyline was crap graphics were crap the only thing that the graphics did good by was OA.

Satisfying

You didn't even bother with capital letters...wow. Sad that this is poorly written, though you can actually bring up a point. (Even I could've agreed with this if it had been written well, tried to write such analysis myself and our points pretty much are similar.) But it lacks of elaboration, and well, honestly the way this is written will hardly make people care about this.

If you are drunk, you probably shouldn't be writing articles.

Say what you will about the movie, but the idea for the costume was great. I just wished it looked like a uniform instead of the muscle weaving.

I know one thing that Green Lantern wasn't as poorly written as this article. lol jk jk Good stuff though you have good points.

This was very difficult to understand. Did you know you only have ten periods in this entire editorial? I'm counting the four consecutive ones, by the way. If you're incapable of writing with sentence structure, then you shouldn't type an editorial till you can. Also, you need to take time to explain things. I was struggling to figure out what you were trying to mean. Put effort into your editorials. If your editorial is four or more paragraphs long, then your chance of people thinking it's quality shoot way up. Length shows effort, but don't just ramble.

@ravennpilot

Personally the suits would look a lot better if they designed similar to the costumes in Tron Legacy. That way it will retain the alian like nature but still be realistic and appealing to the audience at the same time.

Maybe I can help. In the English language one capitalizes the letter "i" to indicate the 1st person singular pronoun "I". Also, one can effectively contract the two words "I" and "am" into one word: "I'm", if and only if one properly employs the insertion of an apostraphe in the correct place.

That should take care of one of your many typos. Space and time, sadly, do not permit me to address the remainder.

Grade: F (for spelling, composition, creativity, and complete lack of originality).

Wow, its not nuclear physics, people. Lol. Why did green lantern fail? Because it was a poorly made movie through and through. It was almost all bad, design, story, script direction and editing...honestly there were only about 15 minutes of the movie that was worth a damn...

I'm just going to skip this article and go straight to commenting.

This movie was terrible, horrific, a slap in the face to any fan of GL or even DC for that matter.

First off, we needed more info on the corps. How they operate, and exactly what they are is what they had to convey, (and their pathetic 30 second narration introduction doesn't even come close to cutting it) To put this in the simplest of terms, my friend whom has never heard of Green Lantern went to see the movie with me, and he truly believed that

a) the Green Lantern Corp was a secret society, SECRETLY protecting the universe

b) They could only make simple objects with the ring, the most complex being an F-16 jet

c) That this was actually a decent movie

They completely mislead the audience, just to get the Corps story over with and move on the Ryan Reynolds screen time. Like many others have said before, if they had borrowed the plot from First Flight, tweaked it, and made it a bit more for mature audiences (even though i personally believe it [First Flight] was mature enough) we would have had a terrific movie: Crime, Love, Betrayal and heroism, Three of which were not present in the GL film.

And despite what others are saying, the CGI was fantastic, the suits were fitting, and the casting was spot on (Mark Strong's Sinestro FTFW)
The only problem was the writing and the direction...

..and to that talentless CCO who helped back the movie, "F@CK YOU, MAN. SEEING YOUR NAME ON GL GOT ME SO PUMPED. NOW BETWEEN THIS, SUPERMAN: SECRET ORIGIN AND YOUR CURRENT RUN ON JUSTICE LEAGUE... I'm starting to believe your just in it for the money. How sad."

S. Snyder for CCO of DC :)

At least if ThreeBigTaco's assertion that you were a child was correct, I could forgive you for this 'article'. Even a hangover could explain the many typos...but do you realize that in an article with nearly 300 words, you only used SIX PERIODS?? It reads like a review written by a man at the peak of a week-long meth binge, being fed intravenously with Red Bull and coffee, rushing to finish typing an opinion seconds before Five-OH busts thru the door... Jesus H. CHRIST in a BOX...

Laughterman, in the future, PLEASE read your words back to yourself before posting. What you mean to express in the flurry of typing may not always translate into coherent reading. Actually, this ISN'T a bad PRIVATELY written outline of ideas for a later, cohesively constructed final draft...actually, re-reading it, it IS...I'm sorry, I'm trying to be criticize constructively, but I really can't, so I should just stop. It would be March 2013 before I finished explaining what I found wrong with this article, and by then, I will have missed the better CBM's that are due to be released this year. HOWEVER, I can say that this is THE most entertaining editorial I have read here, and I do look forward to your next article.

yea i have to agree, knowing that they made Hal Jordon look like a pussy throughout the whole movie, if he doesn't want the damn ring and is too pussy enough to wear it then give to Batman for god's sake lol

Saying that this is biased is a bit of an understatement lol. But can't say I don't agree with some of that, like how they shouldn't have made green lantern's suit that way, and the special effects were wack.
