Latino Review, the website that revealed Marvel's plan for a Guardians of the Galaxy film has received an email from an unamed Marvel security consultant investigating how the news reached the media before its reveal at Comic- Con. The name of the investigator is VP of loss prevention, Robert Grosser. In the email he demands the source of non-public information about Iron Man 3 and Guardians of the Galaxy. Grosser also states that Marvel execs are extremely upset about the leak and authorized him to find out the source. Sources say the company has been hit with intellectual property thefts recently, including stolen images and scripts. To check out the full article, go to the link below.

Robert has been in touch with us too for past leaks that have shown up on CBM. He's got a tough job.

I don't think it's a cause for concern or people really care over a film with a space raccoon, and a "Emp". Overblown reaction on Marvels part.

@ minotauro

Dont.care about Guardians of the galaxy? I take it you've never read the comics or seen all the comments of people who are [frick]ing thrilled and cant wait? Just because you are not excited doesnt mean everyone isnt.

I've got to admit Grosser must have a really tough job as Galactus has said.

But that doesn't mean that Latino Review should have to reveal their source if they don't want to. So yeah. Besides how does it actually hurt Marvel? I don't see (besides surprise for the fans) it would actually hurt them in any way. People will still go to the comic con. People will still see the film. So yeah. Don't really get what Marvel is complaining about.

I'm not hating on Marvel just curious on this...

starscream9289 True. But again, this may even be two different people. One who gave the leak in information one would stole something. So yeah, I'd say they cracked down a bit hard on Latino Review. But that's my own personal opinion. Still that does make more sense with the stuff stolen.

@superotherside, it's not so much that they're being hurt by the leaks, but the fact that one of their employees is giving out information that he or she has no business giving out. They have timetables set for when they want to announce things. They want to get all their ducks in a row before they start talking about things. They also want to make an event out of it. It's extremely counterproductive when someone goes and steals your thunder by spilling the beans. It's even worse when it's someone you employ who knows they shouldn't be talking about this stuff. Especially to entertainment sites.

Wouldn't you be angry if someone who works for you was out talking about the upcoming plans of your company before you wanted those plans revealed? Wouldn't you want to know who it was? Would you want that person still working for you?

@Tazmaniak is right too. It is a hard job though, and I wish the guy luck even if this is bad for comic fans right now. I guess this would confirm Nova and Thanos' involvement in the GotG though?

@Superotherside I could see it being a group job too.

I want to see these leaked screens and scripts though. We saw a glimpse of the Avengers' one and it turned out to be 100% true.

@RAWRG Don't be sorry about not having a twitter, I don't have one either!

On a more serious note, good article. Good layout, good choice of picture, and you hopped in the news fast too. You know you've hit the big time when Big G comments on your article! lol

He's keeping tabs on all the marvel leaks on CBM? I knew it was to good to be true when I saw the article confirming Guardians of the Galaxy as the second Marvel Studios movie in 2014. I don't know why Grosser brings up Iron Man 3 their has been leaks on that movie for some time now. I wonder if he's talking about "Extremis" being the storyline or the confirmation of Iron Patriot, Fire Power, Coldblood, and The Mandarin appearing in the movie.

I call BS. Really, Marvel? You leak crap all of the time. Hell, we practically know everything there is to know about Iron Man 3, Thor 2, and Cap 2 because you distribute a bunch of set photos and leaked information.

And now all of a sudden you get butthurt because someone "leaked" information about your other film? They probably paid someone to "leak" it for them.

Same applies for video games when release dates "leak". Right...
