Joel Edgerton (Warrior), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas), Lee Pace (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) and Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables) have all signed test deals for the lead role of 'Peter Quill' in Guardians of the Galaxy, while there is also said to be interest in Garrett Hedlund (Tron Legacy), James Marsden (X-Men) and Sullivan Stapleton (Animal Kingdom). This is an impressive list of actors and they would all bring something very different and unique to the lead role in James Gunn's foray into Marvel Studios' cosmic universe. So, the question now is which of these guys you would most like to see bring 'Star-Lord' to the big screen in 2014. And remember, be sure to stay tuned to CBM for more casting updates on the highly anticipated movie!
