It was revealed last night that five actors are currently testing for the role of 'Star-Lord' in Marvel Studios and James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy, while three others are also said to be interested. Which of them would be your top choice? Here's your chance to decide!

Joel Edgerton (Warrior), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas), Lee Pace (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) and Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables) have all signed test deals for the lead role of 'Peter Quill' in Guardians of the Galaxy, while there is also said to be interest in Garrett Hedlund (Tron Legacy), James Marsden (X-Men) and Sullivan Stapleton (Animal Kingdom). This is an impressive list of actors and they would all bring something very different and unique to the lead role in James Gunn's foray into Marvel Studios' cosmic universe. So, the question now is which of these guys you would most like to see bring 'Star-Lord' to the big screen in 2014. I think Joel Edgerton or Garrett Hedlund would be good depending on which direction they want for Star Lord. Gritty war veteran would be Joel, young and naive Hedlund.

Joel is the obvious choice. If people have no seen Warrior, they should. Once you see that, he is the landslide choice.

Though I still want either Nathan Fillion or John Barrowman, I think Joel Edgerton would kick ass in the role, I want Garrett Hedlund to be Jack Flag though.

Give it to Edgerton; he's a great actor and is a very good physical actor (looks at Warrior).

Joel Edgerton for me honestly, I've never read Guardians but judging from pictures Star Lord looks and feels like a real man, a strong man who protects no matter the cost in my opinion. Almost like Cap and the only one out of the list here who has that look is Joel. The rest still have that boyish look that we try to avoid when looking for a man who can make us feel safe.

Garrett Hedlund for the win. I still effing love Tron Legacy. Still one of my favorite movies, and the soundtrack is awesome. I'm convinced that he can do it.

He's just perfect for the role. It doesn't matter he plays in Star Trek either. He's a great actor and I think he would be fantastic in the part. Although if Marvel Studios hires someone else I'll give them the befit of the doubt because Chris Evens really surprised me.

I agree Lee [frick]ing Pace is one versatile MOFO. He can do drama, comedy, action, and everything in between. Plus, he is 'really' underrated.

Pace, Edgerton, or Huston.

Out of all these actors, Lee Pace is my favorite, so I'd definitely go for him.

Edgerton is good...not a choice I would've imagined, but might be awesome.

I don't watch Boardwalk Empire, but from the comments he's getting a lot of support. And from what I can tell, he'd be really good.

Between Garrett hedlund or Joel Edgerton. Hedlund has the look, but Edgerton seems to have better acting skills from what I've heard, and in a way, he almost looks like Star-Lord.

edgerton would feel more the leader type. the kind of guy a group of intergalactic outlaws would respect & follow. the others are no doubt talented, but edgerton has got that leadership essence.

but between choices I would choose Jack Huston, because he was my candidate too.
