Method Studios is one of the many visual effects vendors Marvel Studios re-recruited for its latest bonafide hit, Guardians of the Galaxy, and they have now showcased their work with a VFX reel. Meanwhile, Daren Horley of Framestone VFX, who served as the texture painting lead on Guardians of the Galaxy, has shared high-quality images of his contribution to the James Gunn-directed space epic adventure which spotlights the ruthless Rocket Raccoon. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe.
