Netflix is trying to position itself as a legitimate provider of original entertainment. It doesn't look like this show is going to help them one bit. It never bodes well for a werewolf series when their werewolf looks less scary than the ones from "Twilight". Try giving us something that you can't put a choke chain around.

All 13 episodes of Hemlock Grove premiere April 19th only on NETFLIX

Hate it when they use real wolves as werewolves.

Great transform but I also don't care for the final look being a regular wolf...NOT scary.

A Company of Wolves called and it wants it's schtick back.

Don't get me wrong, the notion of the wolf shedding the human meat suit has always been an interesting one, but while some of that looked really great (particularly that last snout bit) there was something more disturbing about the way Neil Jordan did it.

And I have no real issue with them going the folklore route of man becoming an actual wolf vs. a hybrid, as I can understand it's a costly proposition to make it look great as opposed a bad hair suit on even a "cable series' budget. Somewhat underwhelming is still better than tone killingly, take you out of the whole show laughable.

Pretty cool. Ripping the human skin off is my favorite transformation way. Werewolves looking like regular Wolves sucks thou. But its understandable they went that way. Making a real monster is hard and expensive.

@JokerFan: I never said the tonality of the clip is like Twilight, I said the wolf itself looks less scary than the ones in Twilight.

You're right the tone of the show appears to be nothing like Twilight...but then again I wasn't saying that
