Cinematical spoke to Edward Norton at SXSW for the Tim Blake Nelson directed Leaves of Grass and he was less enthusiastic about a Hulk sequel than he was about the character appearing in The Avengers. When asked about the possibility of both his and Blake Nelson's(Who played The Leader..almost!) returning for a sequel to Louis letterier's movie Norton said..
"I don't think so. I think it has got more to do with what Marvel is doing. I get the sense they have this grand vision of unspooling a lot of their characters and then starting to put them together. I think they can only do so many at a time. Obviously, they are doing Iron Man 2 and then getting some of the new ones out."
Similar to what he said in relation to
The Avengers. Ah well, as long as he comes back for that. An
Incredible Hulk sequel would have been nice, but I can live without it in the build up to
The Avengers.
Cinematical's full interview with Norton is to follow so we may hear some more on the subject soon anyway.
UPDATE: Norton reiterated his doubts about a
Hulk sequel to MTV, as well as confirming that Hulk(At least Banner played by Norton) will not cameo in either
Thor or
Captain America..
