So recently, it has been revealed that AIM will have at least a cameo in Iron Man 3, which has brought up a conflict on whether M.O.D.O.K should ever be introduced into the Marvel Cinamatic Universe. My thoughts, well that depends on how he looks and acts. If he is the stupid, laughable character from the comics, then count me out! He would need to be more scary than funny. So a big, fat NO to this one!
If he looks like this, I might like him. The design is pretty cool, but I don't know. It depends on how he would act.
Now if he looked like this, yes, yes, yes! This would, in my opinion, be the best way to bring M.O.D.O.K to the big screen. He looks scary enough(and hopefully would act scary).
Now remember, this is how I feel he should look(and act).
Now to his story.
Comic Origin
George Tarleton is a technician for the organization Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM). Having recently created the artifact the Cosmic Cube, the AIM scientists use advanced mutagenics to alter Tarleton and create the super intelligent MODOC (acronym for Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing) to study and improve the object. MODOC, however, becomes ambitious and kills its former master and takes control of AIM. Calling itself MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing).
Considering the Cosmic Cube is now in Odin's possension, we can't go that route. So I started thinking and came to the thought of M.O.D.O.K's power source be one of the infinaty stones. Maybe AIM finds an infinaty stone and uses it to power their most powerful android, M.O.D.O.K. Then, when Thanos gets possesion of the Infinaty Gaunlet, he only needs one stone, M.O.D.O.K's. So, in the begining of Avengers 3, before he starts his attack, he breaks into the AIM headquarters, kills M.O.D.O.K, and gets the stone.
Now his introduction. Which movie should he be introduced in and should he be a main antagonist.
He should have a cameo in Iron Man 3 and be introduced fully in Captain America 2. If he cameos in Iron Man 3,they could make his creater Aldrich Killian. That could explain why AIM is in the movie.
There should be a war between AIM and a modern day Hydra, so Captain America has to stop it before their war destroys the United States and possibly the world. M.O.D.O.K should be leading AIM.
I don't know if my ideas are good, and don't care, this is why I'm not the directer. I'm just trying to get my point across that bringing M.O.D.O.K to the big screen wouldn't be bad if his story was altered a bit, his apperance changed...a lot, and his behaivour was changed from laughable to scary.
