After watching the Wolverine movie, it turns out that the film sequel to X-Men: The Last Stand also had a major twist on its villain the Silver Samurai as well just like Iron Man 3 with the Mandarin. Luckily the twist in the Wolverine was not as terrible as the one from Iron Man 3 because the twist did not violate or screw up the villain like the one on IM3's Mandarin. For instance, even though the Silver Samurai in this movie wasn't Kenuichio Harada(Will Yun Lee) as usual from the comics and wasn't depicted at his usual height, we still got a Silver Samumai that was done similar to the character's depiction from the comics so it's no big deal.

The only reason why the twist on the Mandarin was terrible is because the producers did not do him right as shown in the comics. Surely it is understandable why they avoided using the chinese stereotype but that does NOT mean they should ditch using the magic rings because the rings the Mandarin wears are what make him on of the greatest super villains in the Marvel Comics and they are exactly what we all know the Mandarin best for in the comics and many of us were so eager to see what it's like for use them in the live action film but the Marvel Studioes president Kevin Feige completely blew that oppertunity away over some piece of s**t that made him lazy from doing it and he purposly screws up Ben Kingslsey's rightfully portrayed version of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by turning him into a joke at the scene of Tony pointing a gun at him in his mansion in Maima and wrongfully refering the real one as Aldrich Killian who does not use or even wear ten rings plus not having to look anything like the Ten Rings terrorist who abducted Tony in the first Iron Man movie and because of this damn twist and retarded interpretation of an extremis powered Aldrich Killian, Feige has ruined the entire Iron Man franchise in the MCU with his total lack of effort and ideas. And if any of you selfish trolls intend on mocking this article with insults, defiance, and lectures, that's fine because it such as sarcastic talkbacks won't make you any better than me or the people that were pissed off by the twist because not only do we know and understand the character better than you do but because we're fine with how he was done originally by Stan Lee and even though we liked Whiplash in Iron Man 2, iit was certainly because there were plenty of other alter egos of the Crimson Dynamo in the comics, the Mandarin on the other hand is a different story because of how the twist violates the character, they will NEVER use an extrmis powered Aldrich Killian for an excuse like that in the comics or the cartoons ever because then it just makes things worse.

Now for how the twist on Silver Samurai's ego did not harshly affect most of the fans was because he was a villain in silver samurai armor and he did use a sword that does very much store energy like the one he used in the comics. Just not blue and even if Will Yun Lee's character wasn't the villain so what. At least he was on Logan's side at the end because there were hardly much male japanese allies of the hero in this movie. Besides, with Silver Samurai as Wolverine's ultimate enemy in the film and X-Men Cinemtic Universe, not only did it have to be someone with the power and materials of penetrating Logan's animantium claws but also someone who seeks to rob him of his immortality such as his ability to heal. So it had to be the man that Logan saved from being killed by the nuclear bomb explosion in 1945 because he saw Logan's wounds constantly healing him back to his normal and healthier state which this case had to have driven him to the edge of sanity in attempts of becoming immortal. and what makes this film and its twist better than Iron Man 3 is also because the hero defeats the bad guy and not the girl. Sure Mariko intervened by stabbing him with Wolverine's dismantled animantium claws but did she kill him? No, Wolverine does because of how the man that he saved turned against him, his daughter, and for all the people that his lust for Logan's healing factor has murdered, Logan definatly earned the right to defeat the Silver Samurai by wounding him with his reverted exosketon like claws, and throws him out of the temple and into the mountainside below to his death.

Surely Mariko and Yukio are all right but even though Logan loves Mariko, he choose to remain apart because he is a soldier and as a soldier it's his duty to protect the good of all man kind. He may no longer posess animantium but he is still capable of battling his enemies. And in the after credits scene marks a MAJOR and SHOCKING discovery.

The return of Professor Charles Xavier!

professor xavier photo: Professor X homepage.jpg

Yeah it's definately surprising isn't it? In X-Men Last Stand he was seemingly killed off by Jean Grey through constant obliteration before Logan killed her to stop the Phenoix entity from destroying the world and because The Wolverine is a sequel to X3 and with the scenes of Logan remembering himself killing Jean and having to go through nightmares and hallusinations of her, it appears Charles Xavier is definately more than just an expert of telepothy and controlling time. But sure enough not only does Patrick Stewart return and reprise his role as Xavier but so does Ian McKellen as Erik Lensherr who appears first in the after credits no longer an enemy of Logan and intercepts him with a desperate need for help against a threat that both he and Charles agree on dealing with together as allies, the Sentinels.

So far actors Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, and Famke Jensen are so far the only four actors to keep up their roles in the X-Men films for more than 10 years and soon will Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore and Halle Berry.

And because the film directors were able to bring Professor X back to life physically, there is just maybe hope that Marvel Studios will do the same in bringing Ben Kingsley back as the Mandarin for the next possible Iron Man sequels properly by making sure he uses real magic rings but just not as 100% of the villain that Aldrich Killian was in IM3 and if it happens in either Iron Man 4 or 5, it will be done in a frankenstein's monster like method but only if they include Fin Fang Foom as the main villain for one of the next two films as well so i it does happen, all of you are to deal with it

Till then stay tune for more Marvel Movie updates

Prof.Xavier's survival can be seen in Last stand's post-credit-scene. I have known that he is a alive for past six years. And before someone asks: yes, in that credit scene you do see that where he gets his new body.

How does it feel having your delusionsdreams of Trevor Slattery leading the Masters of Evil on Avengers 2 crushed by Joss Whedon making the Age of Ultron announcement?

Here we go, more fanboy whining about the Mandarin twist in Iron Man 3. Well, I hate to tell you this, but if Marvel has to choose between the few thousand fanboys who are whining, or the millions of fans who put Iron Man 3 in the top 5 box office draws of all time, they're gonna pick the millions. It's simple math. So get over it already, or make a few billion dollars, buy Marvel from Disney, and then you can make comic book movies the way you want them. Well, you can make a few until you run out of money because all your comic book faithful movies bomb.

At least, you finally put them on Editorials rather than FanFics, so... props for that.

Kind of.

Mandarin was the shittiest Marvel adaption period.I member when ppl were betchin about Bane (not sayin they still aren't) bout not being true 2 the comic source. Then they say they don't give 2 shits about the Mandarin twist. Its [frick]in hypocritical as [frick]! The Mandarin was a sorry ass excuse 2 get audiences (comic fans) involved. The twist was weak as [frick]! Had Trevor been the Mandarin all along I would have been fine with it.At least he was menacing (even as a [frick]in drug addict actor).Killian killed it 4 me. [frick] Shane Hack & [frick] RDJ 4 gettin him on board.Jon [frick]in Favreau should have directed that shit n finished his trilogy.

P.S IM3 is not part of my MCU. XD

IM3 twist > Wolvie twist

I really...never saw it coming. I was a little disappointed initially but it was a solid film.

@mrreese
Never gave a shit about the changes to bane. I just wished I could understand his dialogue.

Mandarin was used to get fans involved? Could you elaborate?

Your opinion. Thats what this is. Its not gonna change mine. I'm a fan of Mandarin. I really wanted to see him. The version I grew up with. It didn't happen, but, I still loved Iron Man 3. As far as the Wolverine, once again I am left disappointed. Instead of a Mutant Samurai, in Samurai armor, with the mutant power to energize a Tachyon field, that allows his sword to cut through almost anything, we get an old geezer, in a robotic suit of Samurai armor with a heated sword. What I don't understand is why? Harada was still in the movie. So why the change? I had the same problem with Bane. Why the change? At least they had a reason to change the Mandarin, and they made it more symbolic than anything. But why change characters so drastically that they know people want to see so badly. What does it matter what twist was better? Why a twist at all? At least with the characterizations. That's what you should be complaining about. Thats just MY opinion though.
