WB canceled this film and blamed it on Australia not giving the movie production the proper tax break. Well if that was true, then the movie would have been scouting out different locations in different countries to film. Since that was total hogwash, the WB has canceled the Justice League movie all together.
Adam Brody who was signed to play the Flash reminisces about putting on the suit, Adam states:
“I put it on once, yeah,” It was such a preliminary version that it wasn’t quite cool yet. It was only kinda nerdy.”
“I did some poses,” he laughed. “It was kinda what you’d think, without certain features; it was the first, rough-draft version.”
As soon as Adam Brody signed on to play the Flash, the role seemed to vanish just as quickly. Does Adam know why?
“I’ll never totally know; I mean, we’re always half in the dark,”. But how close did we come? We were in Australia for some table reads and fittings and what not for a few weeks with George Miller and his camp, and that was a great experience. I don’t regret a second of it. I had a really good time and a lot of positive things came from that.”
Adam chimed in with his thoughts on any future plans for his Justice League movie:
“I don't think they're doing that movie, that incarnation, ever." The world has plenty of superheroes, that’s what I’ll say.”
Maybe the "positive thing" Adam is talking about is getting a role in next month's "Jennifer's Body" opposite Megan Fox. The only other positive thing I think that came from that script read was that the Justice League never got made. Once "Green Lantern" is in front of audiences and they get Superman right, then the WB should give the green light to "Justice League."
