Jessica Biel to be JLA’s Wonder Woman?

I reported yesterday that the Justice League casting had begun in earnest. I also made note that Victoria Hill, the Australian starring in the current movie December Boys had tested for the role of Wonder Woman. Turns out, she isn’t the only one; take the jump.

Currently filming in the indie drama Powder Blue where she’s made a new name for herself by signing a contract to go nude, Jessica Biel also believes that she has what it takes to pull on the Wonder Woman costume.

Variety announced the news yesterday, saying that she was the first piece of casting to emerge, however as you all will be aware I announced that Victoria Hill was right up there with her. Nevertheless, when looking at it realistically, Jessica Biel has more of a chance of catching the role, when you add the possibility of a spin-off movie coming out of the JLA extravaganza.

Jessica Biel also has (and pardon anyone who takes offense) two other “assets” that will no doubt endear her to the casting agents. And, though Wonder Woman’s “assets” have seemingly reached 1990’s Pamela Anderson status, one of DC’s favorite female heroes has always been relatively well endowed.

All that said, the rumors will keep coming and we’ll keep batting them away. Stay tuned!
