One of the most vocal celebrity supporters of the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League has been Aquaman star Jason Momoa, and with reports doing the rounds that it is indeed coming at some point, the actor has now taken to Instagram to share a very simple message about Zack Snyder's movie.
"We're just sitting around doing nothing," he says. "F***ing release the Snyder Cut, right."
"Release the f***ing Snyder Cut," he continues. "What else are we waiting for? There's some goodies in there. I'm just going to put this out there so hopefully. Generally, sh*t I put out there comes true, let's hope it does." Momoa concluded with, "Release the f-cking Snyder Cut, baby!"
It's great to see him supporting Snyder this way, and we know that many of his scenes ended up on the cutting room floor after Joss Whedon took charge and injected a lot of humour into the film.
The hope is that we'll get some news tomorrow, but nothing has been confirmed. It's probably best to not get too excited (remember all those false promises about the first Avengers: Endgame trailer from many of these same "scoopers"?), but it feels like something might be happening.
