JUSTICE LEAGUE Will Be Much Lighter In Tone Than BATMAN v SUPERMAN; Is THE FLASH Comic Relief?
One of the biggest criticisms levelled at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is that it's too dark and simply not fun enough. Well, Justice League is going down a different route by the sound of it...
With so many critics complaining about the lack of humour in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, will Warner Bros. make some alterations to Justice League when production kicks off next month? That remains to be seen, but it definitely sounds like we should expect a very different movie from this latest effort.
"Justice League is a little bit lighter because some of these characters, you have Flash, tend to be a little more comedic I'd say," producer Deborah Snyder confirms in the video above before director Zack Snyder adds: "One of the things that lightens it is having The Flash or having characters that are more optimistic. This movie is in particular is two characters who are in a crisis of conscience which sort of draws them together."
It's interesting that they both single out The Flash, but it makes sense, especially as there's no Green Lantern on the team. Be sure to keep watching the video for hints about the movie's big bad. It definitely sounds like they'll be squaring off against a major threat...
