This past weekend, new interviews with Zack Snyder about his work on the director's cut of Justice League surfaced revealing a number of interesting new tidbits like the fact that Jared Leto's Joker will look a bit different than how he appeared in David Ayer's Suicide Squad

Snyder has also revealed that he had to get a bit creative for how he shot new scenes for Ezra Miller's Barry Allen, as the actor was shooting Fantastic Beasts 3 in London and coronavirus restrictions meant Snyder couldn't just hop on a jet and skip across the Atlantic.

"I had to get a pickup shot of Ezra and when we were doing this little bit, and the only way to do it [because] he's on Fantastic Beast and that's in London and we unfortunately weren't going to travel to London because of the pandemic."

"And so what we did, we picked him up on Zoom.  I sent drawings to the Fantastic Beasts crew [showing] this is what he has to do, this is where he has to be.  I'm here [in Los Angeles] and he was on his set.  There were three monitors for me so I could see the set, and I could see Ezra, and the camera. And I would say, 'Move that guy, do this..."

Despite all the additional footage shot, Snyder stated that only about 4 minutes of extra material was added to the film. It's been speculated by fans that a lot of the reshoots were done to re-film scenes previously shot by Joss Whedon so Snyder could claim that the director's cut didn't include any footage from The Avengers helmer.

The director's cut of Justice League is currently scheduled to debut on the HBO Max streaming service (which is finally available on Amazon Firestick) in early/mid-2021 as a 4-part miniseries, with each episode running for roughly one hour. Following the release of the last episode, the streaming service will then release the project as a 4-hr long movie.

As for Ezra, it's thought that after he completes filming on the third installment in Fantastic Beasts franchise, he'll jump straight into shooting The Flash, which is currently slated to be released on November 4th, 2022. The film will incorporate elements of the Flashpoint storyline and feature Batman actors Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton.

As bad as that run was, I think it was something Joss Whedon shot. The cgi is so bad.
