Now, I’ll state from the beginning that living in Melbourne, as I do, I have a natural and perfectly legitimate dislike for Sydney. But the self-aggrandizing nature of the Australian press seems to consider Megan Gale, picked to play Wonder Woman, as the be all and end all of the movie.
Nevertheless, the International College of Management located in Manly, New South Wales, has topped the list of locations Hollywood would like to shoot in Sydney. Made famous by the marriage of Australia’s favorite daughter Nicole Kidman to Keith Urban, it looks as if it will definitely be a part of the Justice League movie.
The movie is also set to star Adam Brody from The O.C. as Wally West, aka the Flash, and US rapper Common as Green Lantern (the Jon Stewart version). And if what Megan Gale is saying, it looks like we could be inf or three of these movies.
“It's a big deal for me that someone thought I had the potential to generate box-office figures for not one, but three, films,” Gale said last month. “It's pretty scary, but I just have to think they wouldn't have signed me if they didn't think I could pull it off.”
I’ll withhold comments regarding my view of the movie, as it has already been made clear in past posts. But with the apparent lack of Batman and Superman in the movie, I’m not quite sure how they expect it to act as a tent pole for anything.
