Jeffrey Dean Morgan on Lobo: "I don't know that I'm a big blue guy."

The 'Watchmen' actor has spoken to MTV about his rumoured involvement with DC's 'Lobo' which is set to be directed by Guy Ritchie!

When asked if he'd reached out to Ritchie yet the actor played down the previous reports about his involvement in the project, "I said that in passing," Morgan told MTV News. "I don't t know that I'm a big blue guy."

"Lobo happens to be a character that flies by the seat of his pants," said Morgan of the character's appeal. "I don't know if I'm the guy or not, but I think it's going to be one hell of a movie. I'll certainly be going to see it."

However, the actor was quick to clarify that he would definitely be interested in playing the character. "Hey, if Guy Ritchie came to me and said, 'You want to do Lobo?' I'd say, 'Yeah,'"

Now Guy Ritchie is not with Madonna! Im sure he will get back to making great movies!

Im sure this will be a very cool movie! However i feel there is much better DC Charcters to do first, such as Supes, Flash, WW, Green Arrow, etc...

A film version of 'Lobo's Back' or 'Paramilitary Christmas Special' (timed just right to come out during the holiday season - it could be the new 'Bad Santa'!) would be KICK @SS!! One thing though, none of this PG-13 'kid friendly' crap! Lobo has got to be rated 'R' all the way, or nuthin' at all!!!!

LEE: Its simple really - because DC sucks and Marvel doesnt. I dont want or need to read comic books that constantly changes and screws up continuity and whose heroes are pretty much invincible and have museums!!!

I've read enough DC to know that its nowhere near Marvel quality (I mean, why bring back Jason Todd - which was a great arc - only to turn him into a psychotic 2 dimensional villain! Look what Marvel did with Bucky!!!) And its not ignorant its an opinion - just as you say that "tAckles" would make a crap Captain America!!

That coming from someone who hasnt even read a few issues of the Ultimae line (and someone who is too narrow minded to accept the line as a seperate entity to the regular Marvel Universe!)

And sure, an average actor who can barely do an American accent and a guy who's best known for playing a gay character in Sex in the City would make much better Captain America's! But we wont go there...

KEV @ JDM will do a great job as LOBO, though i wanted DURRAND, i really like JDM too, but not ROUKE, great in the Wrestler but he's MARV, cant see him as LOBO too, but then again a lot do, so you never know?!
