as much as i like nightwing,daredevil would pound the living snot out of nightwing.

nightwing - acrobatics & martial arts.

daredevil - radar sense,martial arts & acrobatics.

This is a pretty good match up, but I have to go with Daredevil on this one, he has better feats IMO.

DD has boxing style fight, punching his fists until they wobbled. With an acrobatic run and gun mode and radar senses this fighting style is devastating.

This a tough one. But I think i'm gonna have to give a slight edge to Nightwing.


DD is a great fighter but Elektra can still get the better of him. His senses give him an edge in fighting but for how long?


Nightwing was raised by one of the greatest fighters who always come out on top. Once deducing DD sonar abilities, one sonic batarang and Nightwing would win. Even still I would put Nightwing ahead in terms of Martial Arts because of zbatman raising him.

Daredevil would win.

He has all the same skills as Nightwing, plus the sensory powers that allow him to do things a sighted persn cannot.

Two of my favorite characters. If they battled ten times I think it would end up a tie. Best of five... Nightwing. To nitpick Nightwing has better training (Batman), knowledge of more fighting styles, more tactical, and more weapons on hand.

Agree with BattlinMurdock about Daredevils powers think he's underatted as a fighter in the Marvel Universe and if he really went for it he could take apart far more powerfull foes

Being trained by Batman doesnt really mean anything. It depends on the person of how they utilize that training and skills.

By that logic, Hawkeye, Falcon, and Tony Stark should be able to compete with Nightwing in hand to hand combat because they were trained by Captain America, but thats not the case.

I wouldn't count on Captain America's fighting skills as any better than Batman's. Actually less. Also Batman did beat Cap in their fight. Cap might have better speed and much enhanced strength but not better had to had combat skills. So that doesn't fly.
Training and "how they utilize that" makes my point, Nightwing is the more cerebral of the two.

I still haven't read anything to sway my choice.

I love both Nightwing and Daredevil, but only one man can come out on top. Now unlike a lot of guys chiming in, I've read a lot from both characters, and people picking DD as the winner are totally off the mark. DD, for all of his "senses" and training gets his ass handed to him on a regular basis by some pretty pedestrian villains like, Kingpin and Bullseye. Nightwing, however, rarely even breaks a sweat while beating villains that are often superpowered, like Blockbuster, Clayface, etc. Aside from being trained by Batman, Nightwing WAS Batman, also the leader of the Titans, the leader of the Outsiders, and for a short while, leader of the Justice League. He takes out otherworldly enemies just about every weekend. He's been in the superhero game since before DD even put on tights. Fact of the matter is, with all of Dick's skills, experience, and gadgets, DD would get his arse handed to him.

Wow. Just wow. GOOD Match-up!
My prediction: After a LONG drawn out fight (proabably a two-issue number penciled by Jim Lee and Frank Miller), where the two combatants absolutely kick the living SH!T out of each other, I give this one to Daredevil.
But DD is not walking away. He is dragging his torn, broken, bloody mess of himself across the asphalt to a pay phone and calling an ambulance, leaving behind a torn, bloody, broken Nightwing to wheeze his way through some broken ribs and a long wait for the meatwagon.
