Movie Trailers - Movies Blog "['Wolverine 2'] will be very different from the last 'Wolverine' movie, and that's what I like about it," Jackman told MTV News. "I didn't want it to feel like the same thing. ... It's a whole new environment and the storyline is unbelievable. I wish I could announce to you some of the people involved." He doesn't reveal any names but those hoping for fewer mutants for Wolvie to share screen time with next time around are in for a disappointment because... "There will be a lot of new mutants," he said. "There will be a lot that are in the book." That doesn't sound like a particularly faithful adaptation of Miller and Claremont's Japan saga! Jackman says they will have to "pick and choose" parts to adapt but promised that the film will be "fairly faithful" to the comics. "Like all the Wolverine and X-Men stories, they're long," he said of the source material. "If you put together all the Japan saga stories, it's so long." With a few other X titles in development, is it possible that Wolverine could cameo in any other movies? "All those guys came in and helped me out, [so] if it was alright and the stars were aligned, I'd do the same," he said. "I'm not exactly sure what the studio planned, [and] I don't have any say in that, unfortunately. But I'd love to." Cool! I wonder, when he said new mutants did he mean THE New Mutants? Doubtful considering the time frame of the japan saga...but I wouldn't put anything past Fox!
