I would have waited for tomorrow to post this, but I feel as though if I put it today everyone would get a chance to post their resolution.

Example-

My New Year's Resolution: To see every movie on the CBM calendar.

See you can keep it pretty simple like that example above, or feel free to write a whole paragraph for your resolution. It doesn't matter how you do just as long as it is appropriate for the site.

ComicBookMovie.com appeared online in 2003, just before the comic book movie boom hit big. Jim and Nate, both having a love of comic books and movies since childhood, left their jobs to develop CBM into what it is today--the #1 site in the genre with 8 million monthly visitors, and in the top 2000 of all websites on the entire web. The community that has developed on CBM is one of the most fun and entertaining aspects of our site.

In 2008, the site was converted to a "user-generated" model. The content is 100% produced BY the fans and users of the site. Articles submitted are voted to the homepage by users, or may be moved there by a volunteer editor. Regular contributors of quality articles are given privileges on the site ("trusted user" status) which allows them to bypass the editors and go directly to the main. Those who will agree to help edit the contributions of others for homepage placement, are given "power user" status. Any user interested in helping the site need only show they are willing and able to do so and they will be advanced. Competition for breaking news is high here, but that is also a part of what makes ComicBookMovie.com

My resolution is to be a better diciple of GUSTO.

I'm trademarking some "WWGD?" (What would gusto do?) Bracelets.

But resolutions are meaningless unless you take action to apply them in your life.
So, I've left my wife of 18 years and moved in with a stripper named "candy" (she's a dandy) and spent the mortgage money on johnny walker black.

Ok i love this site there is no site like this in any other place. What I do not like is the hipocrisy of the 95% of the marvel fans. There are about 6 or 7 known trolls that go troling users and articles that talk good things about DC comics. But they are given a pass by editors and users alike all just because they love marvel. And then there are dc-passionate users like 1to10 or the wonderer and then all marvel trolls gang up on them... I really cannot stand those hypocrits marvel fanboys

@b&y I hear ya, I thought he was the man for the job. He was off cord when Derek Anderson made the probowl 5 or so years ago. You remember him? Anyway, I had high hopes he would be the answer. Ha, yea, as much as I thought Schwartz would fix my Lions, I was wrong on that one. I thought both of those coaches were great fits. Jeez, I would make a shitty GM. Time to fire Tomlin so the Lions can grab him. :)

Yeah Detroit might sound more stacked but it's all high round picks with ego issues. Fvck that shit. I would rather have Gordon and Hoyer playing for me with some solid Defense.

I love this place and all the douche bags in it.

We're like a massive, dysfunctional family.

The model that has evolved for this site - while not perfect in it's application, or equitable in it execution - is preferable to the model used by all the Trojan, corporate run sites... Who prejudicially disseminate what execs deem to be, or not to be, newsworthy (aka: in their best interests)
