NOAH is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (GLADIATOR, HUGO). Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (BLACK SWAN), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (INCEPTION, ARGO).

Noah is directed by Darren Aronofsky ("The Wrestler"), and stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth and Anthony Hopkins. It floods theaters March 28th, 2014.

Can we just get jimdotbeep banned already? Does nothing but troll the Noah articles, it's ridiculous. Bravado's rightfully gone, I'm pretty sure this guy should be next.

Not religious. Don't care. This movie looks like it's worth watching, for Russell Crow alone.

I really hope this starts a new trend in Biblical hollywood blockbusters. There are countless epic stories in the Bible that would make amazing films, and they don't have to be preachy either. I think atheists and believers alike would appreciate some epic movies with incredible action, powerful drama, relevant themes and deep characters. The Bibles a gold mine for just that. Treat it with respect (like it appears they did here) and everyone wins.

@nailbitter111 All you do is post promotion stuff for a religious movie. Even though The community at large has made it clear they are not in favor of this site being used to promote religion. Some have said this is based off of a graphic novel. seeing as though that graphic novel is clearly religious propaganda and this movie has a biblical accuracy featureete. It is plainly clear that this has no place on Comic Book Movie.com.

@jimdotbeep

If it makes you feel any better, Aronofsky himself said this was the least biblical biblical movie ever.

So if you're afraid you're going to be converted by watching a movie, this probably won't be that movie. It's just a disaster movie with Odin, Jor-El, and some wicked fallen angels in it.

A Simple Yet Profound Argument

The Argument: If God exists and the Bible is His Word, then we can know that what the Bible says is true.

1. Proposition: God exists (inferences deduced from teleology, ontology, morality, contingency, cosmology and objectivity).
2. Proposition: The Bible is His Word (inferences deduced from archaeology, science, history, prophecy and literary unity).
3. Conclusion: Therefore, we know that what the Bible says is true (deduced from 1 & 2).

Logical. Sound. Valid.
