With just under two weeks to go until the release of Godzilla vs. Kong, Legendary (via Bloody Disgusting) as shared some revealing new clips from the highly-anticipated Monsterverse-mash.

All three focus on Kong, and one confirms a pretty significant plot point, so be wary of spoilers

.The clip in question sees the King of Skull Island greeting his human friend Jia (Kaylee Hottle), who is able to communicate with the great ape via sign language. It's soon revealed that the forest setting is actually some kind of massive enclosure surrounded by a digital barrier, where Kong is being held against his will.

The second sneak peek also features Jia along with Rebecca Hall's character, and the final clip teases the underwater showdown between the titular titans.

“Legends collide as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.”

Starring Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Shun Oguri, Jessica Henwick and Brian Tyree Henry, Godzilla Vs. Kong pits the two famous monsters against each other in an epic battle.

Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok) and Max Borenstein (The Terror) wrote the screenplay, with Adam Wingard on board as director. The movie is set for release in theaters and on HBO Max on March 31.

Love them both, but team Godzilla all the way. That being said, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this movie's Kong.

This was my second most anticipated of March. Minari was incredible, Snyder Cut is out of the way (I'm in hour 3, I'll get there eventually), full steam ahead on Kong v Godzilla

Respect to the King, the eight wonder of the World, the Titan that was stomping on giant lizards heads before Kaiju was a thing, the OG.

Team Godzilla for me but can’t wait to see these juggernauts go head to head. For me, the monster verse rankings go:

1. Skull island
2. KoTM
3. Godzilla (2014)

I’m hoping this will be as good or better than skull island but anything better than KoTM will make me happy. Can’t wait for the 31st

@MrLurk - I know I’m in the minority but I liked King of Monsters the best because it reminded me of the brainless Japanese showdowns Godzilla films I watched as a kid. Skull Island is my least favorite because I’m a big fan of the original and Peter Jackson Kong films and the world lacked imagination and the grandiose nature of those films

1. King of Monsters
2. Godzilla
3. Skull Island
