Well it seems like peter will indeed be staying on for more then one series as the mirror have just reported that the 56 year old who kicks of his era on the show in a few weeks has signed up for another series which also includes next year's christman episode. The actor also said he will be channeling all the previous doctor's as he grew up watching and learning from them so if you thought he was going to be another matt smith type of doctor you can put that rumor to rest.
