There's been some talk of a fourth
Jurassic Park movie for a while now, and Joe Johnston (director of the third instalment in the dinosaur franchise and upcoming Marvel Studios picture,
Captain America: The First Avenger) has been attached to the project for equally as long. With Mark Protosevich, who worked on the story for
THOR, and Steven Spielberg currently developing it, here's what Johnston had to say when talking to
Screen Rant recently.
"We are in discussions about 'Jurassic Park 4.' The most important thing I can tell you is that it starts a new trilogy that will go off in a different direction — a completely different direction that is very exciting, and different from anything we’ve seen. It starts with the history of the first trilogy, but it spins it off in a completely different direction. That’s all I can tell you."
What do you guys make of this news? Would you like to see a fourth movie helmed by Joe Johnston, or should he get to work on
Captain America 2? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!
