GODZILLA VS. KONG, MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE And DUNE Licencing Expo Images Revealed

As preparations for next week's Licensing Expo in Las Vegas get underway, we have an early glimpse of some promotional art for three upcoming movies that will be showcased ast the event.

While the Masters of the Universe and Dune images are not revealing in the slightest, the Godzilla Vs. Kong banner does give us a look at the iconic beasts of the title roaring into battle.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters doesn't directly set up Big G's impending showdown with the gigantic gorilla, but there are a few teases of what's to come (more on that later today).

You can see Godzilla throw down with his fellow titans in theaters this weekend (check out our review here), while his battle with King Kong is set for March 13, 2020.

If people are looking for a really fun video to watch, check this one out from MrSundayMovies about the 1998 Godzilla shit movie. Found this to be pretty funny!

I eagerly await how they
A) explain how Kong is the size of Godzilla (I know they have a throw away like in Skull Island about how he’ll keep growing but I’m expecting it to be addressed again in the film)
B) avoid Godzilla setting Kong on fire instantly

I saw King Of The Monsters, there’s fun to be had but I wasn’t a fan, Godzilla 2014 definitely had more memorable moments for me, Bryan Cranston, Godzilla’s entrance, the halo dive, but KOTM will probably just be a blur to me in a couple weeks time

@manofillintent1 - Thank you, I definitely won't see King of the Monsters in that case, because I disliked the 2014 film as it is.

@Matador - Almost every big budget Sony film has that same shitty glossy look, like TASM 2 or Ghostbusters 2016

@Matador - The potential for Skeletor is endless, but I'm afraid they'll blow it.

@satanicbatman - The potential where they could take that universe characters & She-Ra is endless it could be there Marvel Universe.
That's a big IF they can get there shit together and are faithful to the source material.

Dune is one of my two most anticipated films of 2020 easy (along with Tenet)
Godzilla v Kong is gonna flop. Masters of the Universe sounds like another crappy Sony wannabe blockbuster like Ghostbusters ‘16 or MiB International.

@tmp3 - Not a fan of Dune but to say Godzilla vs Kong will fail please it will make way more money than Dune you forget kids love giant monsters and there toys.
Dune what are they going to sell sand?

@Matador - I have no doubt Dune will bomb, but at least it'll be a damn good movie. Denis Villeneuve is one of the best directors working right now, and after how good Blade Runner 2049 was I have no doubt Dune will be incredible too. Godzilla 2 is tracking to under-perform, and Kong v Godzilla is from the director of Netflix's bad Death Note film and Blair Witch. Don't think it'll do to well.
