In the video above, Ewan McGregor talks in detail about reprising the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and while he doesn't weigh in on the possibility of reprising the role in live-action, it appears as if the actor was very happy to be asked back by J.J. Abrams. "I’d been waiting for the call to come for two years," he says. "I thought maybe they’ve lost my agent’s phone number. Then I got a call from JJ just shortly before the film was released. He asked me to come in and said, ‘I’d love you to be a part of it.'" For details on what his role consisted of and how Alec Gunness factored into things, be sure to watch the video above.
