@DarthOmega - as someone who has been critical of the choices made in terms of what subjects get on the site, star wars is fine. Star wars is very much in line with the interests of the cbm fanbase.

Besides, the franchise has extended into comics, with plenty of the movies addressing the comics. So it's technically a comic book movie franchise if you think about it.

@Origame - This is a fan "what if" drawing tho. Hardly news. Kinda cool tho

@DarthOmega - hardly news is still news. And it's not like they're hiding what it's about, nor are they doing this continuously instead of actual legitimate news of upcoming movies. It's mostly just there for slow news days when they think a cool piece of fan art might garner discussion.

@Origame - Dude, I'm not going to argue about this. But sharing fan art about Star Wars isn't.... You know what nevermind dude. Sure whatever it's news.

It's just like imagining the Skywalker family that never was.

Would love to see a “What If” series for Star Wars.

What if Darth Vader didn’t die at the end of ROTJ

What if Anakin killed Obi-Wan at the end of ROTS

What if Darth Vader told Luke that Obi-Wan killed his father in ESB

@LilJimmy - the way star wars works in terms of fate, that'd be pretty dark.

@LilJimmy - there is already a comic series (Legends I think it's called) that did the for the OT.

Would love to see a nine episode show that does that for all the Skywalker Saga movies though.

@LilJimmy - What if Anakin killed the Emperor with Mace instead and was able to raise his kids with Padme?

What if Mace survived?

Just a few more what ifs to throw in there

@LilJimmy - What If Darth Maul didn’t kill Qui-Gon in TPM?

I think that’s the one most likely to lead to a non-fallen Master Skywalker like in the fanart.

It’s too bad because

McGregor, Portman and Christensen are all PERFECT ages now to tell some really good prequel stories.

Would sign up now for a whole series or films of a WHAT IF or screw it jaut create a star wars multiverse

Cool but must be a slow news day if we’re posting fan art.

A what if animated series would be cool for Star Wars.
