Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Be Back Again For The Next Terminator Sequel

Before the first trailer for Terminator Genisys dropped Paramount Pictures went ahead and set release dates for sequels and now Schwarzenegger seemingly confirms his involvement in those films.

A while ago Paramount Pictures went ahead and set release dates for Terminator 6 and Terminator 7, but whether Schwarzenegger would remain involved was still unknown. Now Arnold Schwarzenegger responded to a fan's question from TheArnoldFans.com about whether he’d be filming Terminator 6 saying, "“Yes, of course, next year”

Now of course this is all subject to change after the release of Genisys. After all Sony originally had release date for an Amazing Spider-Man 3 and we all know that changed after The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah (Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.

Sure, why not, welcome him back to the franchise he built...though I'm one of the seemingly few who liked Salvation, would have been happy to see sequels to it..

Not if the movie is as terrible as THR's script review.

This just looks like a pointless money making film. It's gonna be rubbish.

I'll go see it though. Obviously.

What if this movie ends up being a sh*tfest like T3? Are they really going to keep going with this franchise?

Hey, I liked salvation, too. Took me a couple of years to realize that the internet consensus was bad.

@batz11 @AXE I don't think Salvation was such a travesty. I mean, I don't find it great either, but it had a lot of potential, especially since it was tackling post-apocalyptic ground at a good time, film-wise. The story unfortunately tripped, casting Sam Worthington was a mistake, and they should have just focused on John. Oh, and Christian Bale wasn't incredibly magnetic either.

Right, it had it's downfalls, but over all, I enjoyed watching it, that's all I care about sometimes...

Salvation was a step in the right direction. I'd wait before talking about sequels to this movie. Its not gauranteed to be well recieved.

i liked that Salvation was during the war. The fact that they are going back in time again has me a little concerned.

I liked salvation. I'm still a little bummed that they didn't finish that trilogy. Hopefully this new set will make me forget about that. I hope they go the dark route.

If I like a film, that's the end of it, that's all I care, anything else is just not important to me. I like it, end of story, who's to say otherwise lmao

@DrDoom Seriously.

"It's the same....but this time....it's....DIFFERENT....?"

Don't understand what this movie is getting at.

I quite enjoyed Salvation, everything was spot-on, the ambience, the music, the cast. Marcus' back story was a little confusing to me. But that's just me. The only thing I didn't like and I really mean it, was the ending. So rushed and "sequel demanding".

That's fine but let's hope the one just made is good first.
What I really want is KING CONAN...that's what he should be working on.
Do It Arnold!

@batz11 just watched Salvation the other night, such a good movie, im upset after 3 movies we finally got to see the war and now were just going back again, with different actors, ugh.

They need to keep actors for more tan 2 movies and this franchise would be better and make more sense
