The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story TV spots continue to roll out, and this latest one features a pretty awesome Star Wars Rebels easter egg.

As you can see from the image above, one of the Rebel ships amassing for a space battle against the Empire around the 7 second mark appears to be none other than Hera Syndulla's modified VCX-100 light freighter, The Ghost.




This could simply be a different ship of the same model - but these type of things are never done by accident, so even if it isn't supposed to be Hera and her crew, it's almost certainly a little nod to the Disney XD show.

Of course, fans are hoping that it is The Ghost, and are even theorizing that the final episode of Star Wars Rebels season 3 will tie-in to the movie by finishing just as this battle is about to commence.

What do you guys make of it? Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set for release on December 16.

@GinjaNinja - the average CW episode is better than the average Rebels episode, but Rebel's best episodes are comparible to CW's best episodes. Season 1 is very much aimed at young children, and there are too many filler episodes. But overall its a fun watch

It's good to know the best of rebels are good. I remember some bad CW episodes, but the good ones made it worth it.
