Tickets went on sale for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings earlier today (read more about that here), and Marvel Studios has now shared the first clip and an IMAX poster for the movie.
The latter features some surprising reveals, including our best look yet at The Great Protector. Interestingly, that dragon seemingly won't be the only one we see here as there's a second, far more sinister version taking flight we're guessing could be the MCU's take on Fin Fang Foom (likely with a new name, similar to how "The Mandarin" has become Wenwu for his live-action debut).
A clip has also been shared showing more of that intense scaffolding fight sequence.
"This is a really exciting scene," director Destin Daniel Cretton tells Fandango. "Brad Allen was our second unit director and he and one of our great choreographers, Andy Cheng, choreographed this fight sequence. One of Brad Allen's heroes is Buster Keaton. You'll see a lot of Buster Keaton-like storytelling throughout this sequence, a lot of physical comedy, a lot of setups and payoffs. It's just a really exciting sequence and a small taste of what our movie has to offer in terms of its action."
The world premiere for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings takes place this evening, and it feels like Marvel Studios is now pulling out all the stops to get fans excited ahead of September 3.
