The trailers for Black Adam have been pretty bland to me but I’m really looking forward to Shazam 2. The first one was so fun and heartfelt and it’s one of the strongest DCEU entries to date.

This sounds [frick]ing horrible. Truly. What a mistake to use these made up [frick]ing no name villains. What the hell? Definitely won’t be paying to see this one. The first one was meh anyways. As a DC fan, it’s so sad to see us continue to fail.

i don't love the first one as much as alot of people do... i did enjoy it but i thought it was ok overall. reading this... im not impressed, actually sounds kind of stupid tbh. i won't be seeing this or BA or an DC movies in theater until the next Reeves Batman movie comes out.

We all know how franchise vs movies go, they fight, then a big threat shows up and they team up, no way they will make the rock a villain

Makes no sense to have Levi as Shazam then.

Asher Angel would play the super-powered version of himself given the character is now on the border of adulthood. In the Shazamily Values movie featurette, it's shown that Mary is 18 years old during the events of Shazam!. As the movie takes place in 2018, she should be born in 2000. Now that actress is playing her adult superhero version. Billy is now 18 so he should now look like he does normally except a little beefed up.

The first movie is overrated, its "ok", but that's it...bringing the Family so soon was always a mistake, and it seems this movie will suffer from it...
Also, killing Billy just to bring him back a few minutes later sounds incredible dumb, let alone getting Wonder Woman involved.
Lastly, not a fan of making Billy "old", the point of Shazam is that he is a kid, but this was a problem since day 1, they should've casted an actual kid, not a teenager.

@TheHumanSpider2 - Totally agree. When I first read that billy would be killed I got excited because that would be a big step and maybe they find a way to keep Shazam going with a different kid or ditch the kids all together. But then they bring him right back? Kid will be a man the next time they make a movie with this character. Changes will be needed.
