SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Poster Possibly Spotted With The Iron Spider Facing Off Against Doctor Octopus

A new poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home has been spotted in Australia, and while we can't say for sure whether it's the real deal, it does offer a very cool shot of the wall-crawler facing down Doc Ock...

Fans are growing increasingly frustrated about the apparent lack of marketing for Spider-Man: No Way Home. It was only a couple of weeks ago that we got an Empire Magazine cover and feature, but with a little over a month to go until the movie swings into theaters, there's a lot of anticipation to see a new trailer, posters, TV spots, and the usual reveals we'd usually get this close to release.

Well, it appears a poster has now been spotted out in the wild as an Australian fan came across the following one-sheet on the side of a bus. As always, it's possible this is very elaborate fake. While some are declaring it 100% real, we can't help but notice that Doctor Octopus' arms look a little weird, while Spidey appears to have been pulled straight from that final shot in the teaser.

Real or fake, it's not a bad effort, though we're definitely hoping for something a little less generic that plays more into the fact that this movie is going to throw Spider-Man into the madness of the Multiverse. At this point, it remains unclear whether the other Spider-Men will be marketed in any way.

Now Eternals is playing in theaters, perhaps Sony will choose next week to pull back the curtain on what's to come in the threequel? Here's hoping, as the wait for the new trailer is agonising!

"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero," reads the movie's synopsis. "When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man."

Among the threequel's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx.

As noted, Spider-Man: No Way Home will arrive exclusively in theaters on December 17.

"Forcing him to discover what it truly means to be spiderman"

It's about time!

Well, if the leaks are accurate, then it's true but it's a massive course correction from the first two movies.

@Amuro - ...I'm ok with that.

It's in desperate need of a course correct. The first two films while they were popular due to MCU correction and hype over the idea of a new Spider-man who was less serious and more comedic after the Andrew films where he was primarily a jer - lacked any sort of character traits of Spider-man.

- He did not have money troubles
- He did not have girlfriend troubles
- He did not have to deal with the concept of a secret identity because everyone important found out who he was fairly quickly

Honestly, if they use this as the last MCU Spider-man movie to transition to bringing back Andrew, Tobey or even introduce Miles... I'd be fine with that because Tom's Spider-man is my least favourite and the MCU Spider-man movies I think are the weakest from a creativity, writing, directing and action standpoint

@Scarilian - Couldn't agree more, Holland's Spider-Man is not Spider-Man, it's more like Iron-Boy. He carries really no traits from what the Marvel character from the comics is. Watts is also awful, and although I liked Homecoming for what it was, it wasn't Spider-Man to me. Far From Home was also terrible, so there's that, so I was very disappointed when they hired him for Marvel's First Family, hope he changes his sensibilities and draws from the Comics, not the MCU.

If that is the poster they have been hiding all this time that is incredibly lame. There is no reason this couldn't have been released with the first trailer

Its just the end-shot of the trailer with arms.
I think it looks cool, although IF official, rather lazy.

Sony used a Venom 1 poster, edited it slightly and made it the Venom 2 poster...

So it fits their current line of work

REHASSSHH!

@OptimusCrime - just look at his hands. It has to be fake. If it's real, I could be working as a graphic designer.

@OptimusCrime - I mean, in the era we are going through with reduced box office numbers, it makes sense for the studios to spend less on marketing. We havent seen much from this movie or even eternals compared to past efforts.

It’s been in what…4? Movies now and I can say quite comfortably that the Iron Spider suit does not get any better with time. Worse live action Suit he’s had by a large distance

@Twenty23Three - i place it 1 step higher than the stealth suit. That suit was unnecessary

@OptimusCrime - the stealth suit is stupid. It implies Spiderman can be stealthy wearing his usual suit, which we all know after 60 years is bullshit.

@RitoRevolto - it should have just been at the end of FFH and then in infinity War because Iron Man had no choice but to call it for him. After that it should have never been seen again

@ElricReturns - I also really disliked it. The way I think they explained it was to hide Spideys identity so that his classmates wouldnt put 2 and 2 together

It's so odd to me that Doc Ock is the center of attention in the marketing. I mean he's surely popular, but it's not like he's gonna be the main villain or something.

He's the only villain who has been directly confirmed so far. It must be a teaser poster.

I have yet to see a good poster for an MCU spider-man movie.
I think the expectations made this one look worse.

I'm thinking this might be fake though.

Oof can we not use the Iron Spider anymore? The black and red suit hit the perfect look for this Spidey. Tweak it maybe a little here and there, but it's good.
