THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 To Be Subtitled THE RISE OF ELECTRO?
There's been talk of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 being subtitled with either "Price of Power" or "With Great Power", but a Brazillian website has revealed that the sequel will be called The Amazing Spider-Man: Rise of Electro in that country. Will the same apply elsewhere?
Brazilian website Cinepop have today revealed that the title of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be "O ESPETACULAR HOMEM-ARANHA: A AMEAÇA DE ELECTRO". According to the site, that translates to The Amazing Spider-Man: Rise of Electro, and confirms earlier reports that the sequel will have a subtitle. Whether this name will be used only in Brazil remains to be seen (similar to how Captain America: The Winter Soldier is being called Captain America: The Return Of The First Avenger in Germany), but with the first trailer just a few weeks away, we should know sooner rather than later! In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough.
