Spider-man Homecoming movie review: The first good Spider-man movie since Spider-man 2

Though brief, Tom Holland showed us that he could be a good Spider-man in Captain America: Civil War. Now here in Spider-man Homecoming he shows us he's a great Spider-man

13 years. 13 years since the last good Spider-man movie. Now sure, Garfield was a good Spider-man, but the two movies that he starred in were not good. They were two jumbled, plot holed filled films that didn't know what movie they wanted to be (with The Amazing Spider-man 2 easily being the worst one). So now here we are, a short 3 years later with a new Spider-man, a new movie, and a comletley different enviornment. But don't worry, this time Spidey is in good hands. For the first time in almost 15 years, Spider-man is in a good movie.

Spiderman Homecoming is the film version of a sigh of relief. While not perfect (it has its flaws), and while not the best film to date, its certainly head and shoulders above the last three films that have been shat out by Sony. Now Sony is attached to this project and will be attached to any Spider-man project in the intermediate future, but their influence on the script is almost nonexistent. This leaves room for creative and talented writers to put together a cohesive screenplay that will give everybody's favorite web slinger the movie he deserves. And thanks to Marvel Studios, we got just that. Full review below:
