The launch of
Marvel's Spider-Man was just a beginning of your Spider-Verse journey, as you will have a chance to check out at least three story expansions that will introduce three new characters we haven't met in the base game. The first DLC, titled
The Heist, will be focused on Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, who has a mysterious plan that involves leaving clues around New York to play with Pater Parker.
According to developer Insomniac Games, the upcoming
Heist will feature many "
twists and turns," as the DLC starts with a robbery at an art museum that entangles Spider-Man and MJ. The studio has revealed the story component is just a small part of the upcoming expansion and there’s a whole new faction of enemies, new crimes, new challenges, new trophies, and even three brand new suits.
The player will have an opportunity to don the
Resilient Suit (designed be famed Marvel illustrator Gabriele Dell’Otto),
Scarlet Spider Mark II, and the
Spider-UK suit that will make every
Captain Britain fan more than happy. Adi Granov, Marvel illustrator and suit designer, also created a wonderful artwork that spotlights Black Cat and Spider-Man's adventures and you can check it out down below:
