A possible scene in the upcoming The Amazing Spiderman movie? *POSSIBLE SPOILER*

According to a pretty reliable source, I was told the following when we met up to watch Green Lantern last night:

"There is this scene where he's in the subway then slings a bunch of webs around. Using them so he can hear or feel the vibrations in the tunnels."

I think this would be cool if it really pans out in the movie. Using a bunch of connected webs and using the vibrations to listen in on anything bad that would happen in different parts.

Whats your take on this?

I still think it's too soon to reboot Spiderman but I read somewhere yesterday that they screened some early footage and supposedly it was like the greatest thing ever.

So now I'm excited.

He's not listening for something bad, he's just feeling the vibrations... completely different from 'listening' to his webs.

Sad that Emma Stone is Gwen, that means it'll very unlikely that she appears in the sequels if any is considered for the making, and man what i'd be willing to give to see her in more movies!

I think he does it to hear for the trains.

@Jagfan28 and Splenda
I think he's making all the webs because he could be listening for a train or he's trying to track down the Lizard and he doesn't know what the tingle in his spine (spider-sense) means.

Who knows, it's a re-boot. It would be cool if they give him different Spidey powers or abilities than we have seen in the previous movies.
