Entertainment Weekly Reveals Four Awesome Covers Featuring The Cast Of SUICIDE SQUAD
Four awesome covers featuring the cast of Suicide Squad have been revealed by EW today as director David Ayer weighs in on the pressure of delivering after Batman v Superman disappointed...
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was supposed to be a $1 billion hit for Warner Bros. which would have kicked of the DC Films Universe in style, and while it came relatively close to that all important figure, it failed to live up to the expectations held by the vast majority of fans and critics in March.
Now, the pressure is on Suicide Squad to deliver (hell, some might say that it needs to save this world), and talking to Entertainment Weekly recently, writer and director David Ayer admitted to feeling the pressure that entails. "Two years ago Suicide Squad was a tertiary [DC property]. No one knew anything about it. It was a cool little playground, and I was going to go make my movie. Now it’s like the hype bus. All of the attention has swung onto it, and it has to carry a lot more weight than it was ever intended to. I think it can sustain it. But it’s a lot of pressure. You definitely feel the pressure."
Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016. Are you looking forward to the movie? As always, be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.
