Suicide Squad was a box office hit, but a lot of fans were left disappointed by the movie and are still anxious to see the franchise taken in a new direction with
The Suicide Squad. James Gunn is at the helm, and it now looks like the director may have confirmed the involvement of Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.
Plenty of rumours have pointed to her making an appearance, but a social media post from Gunn is what's got fans talking today.
As you can see below, he shared some photos of an arcade/lounge that Microsoft has seemingly provided for the team working on the DC Comics adaptations, and in the third image Gunn has spelled out "Harley" on an oversized game of Scrabble along with "King Shark" (we know that character is set to appear, and the prevailing theory is that he'll be played by Michael Rooker).
This may mean something or absolutely nothing, but we know that Gunn like to tease fans on Twitter and that he's not shy about correcting them about certain reports or rumours.
We'll have to wait and see when it comes to Harley Quinn's future after
Birds of Prey, but here's hoping she's in
The Suicide Squad!
