THE SUICIDE SQUAD Star Daniela Melchior Urges Fans To Go See The Movie With Adorable New BTS Photo

The Suicide Squad is not performing particularly well at the box office (to say the least), so star Daniela Melchior has taken to Twitter to urge fans to head to the theatre with a cute new BTS photo.

Warning: The article will contain SPOILERS for The Suicide Squad

As The Suicide Squad continues to struggle at the box office, star Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher 2) has taken to Twitter to urge fans to go see the movie in theaters, and share an adorable new behind-the-scenes photo of herself with one of her rodent costars.

Cleo Cazo's whiskered pal Sebastian was played by two different rats (Crisp Rat and Jaws) in the movie. We're not sure which one is pictured here, but he seems to be enjoying a snack between takes.

"Sebastian says: Have you watched @SuicideSquadWB?," Melchior Tweeted. "If yes: go watch it again and take your best friends with you! If not: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?"

SPOILERS ahead!

Cleo and Sebastian actually save the day at the end of the movie by taking down Starro the Conqueror with an army of rats. Since they survive the Corto Maltese mission, fans are hoping to see them again in the DCEU at some point. Unfortunately, The Suicide Squad's underperformance means a direct sequel is a long shot, but that doesn't mean they won't return in some capacity down the line.

The Suicide Squad is now playing in theaters and on HBO Max. You can check out our 5-star review below.

Sebastian doing his best Lando impression leading the attack on Starros Main Reactor.

Too bad about the BO though. Well…maybe best to send TSS to HBOMAX. Anthology based show. New group of Characters every season…(except maybe Waller and 1-2 survivors).

@IronGenesis - show sounds like a good idea. With the higher production value of current TV shows like game of thrones I think we can really benefit with more superhero properties on the small screen.

She didn't respond yet.

Such a shame about the BO bc I loved the movie! Watched it first time in theaters and then again on HBO Max. The simultaneous release in a time when COVID concern is super high really seems to have negatively affected it. :/

I have a pretty strong, lifelong rodent phobia, but I have to admit The Suicide Squad kinda helped me feel a bit more comfortable about them and even find them kinda cute in their own weird way (especially if they can actually wave, that shit was adorable.)

Not sure I'm about to go to my local pet shop and get a rat or anything but I do feel like the movie helped calm my somewhat irrational fear of them.

The relationship between Ratcatcher and Bloodsport was easily one of the best parts of the movie.

That sucks about the BO - It really was a fun movie! I also watched it first in theaters and then again on HBO Max.

DC needs to earn the audience's trust after all the horse-dung, and it sucks that James Gunn took that brunt (hoping he was well paid with the HBO Max deal). They need to get a streak going, because like Fox-Marvel (not MCU), it seems they strike out after hitting home runs every time. I am rooting for them to do well!
