Young Clark Kent Cast In Man Of Steel?

Has young actor Cooper Timberline been cast as a 9 year old Kent in Zack Snyder's reboot? Nothing verified yet but if he has that means that we will indeed be seeing flashbacks to Clark's youth..

I picked up this story over at the DC Movies fan page but it originally comes from IMDB so I'm not sure how accurate it is. The rest of their cast list for the movie is spot on though so there is nothing to suggest this isn't. According to them Cooper Timberline will be playing a 9 year old Clark Kent, which of course means flashbacks to Supes' time as a young whippersnapper back in Smallville. This is a plot device which has been used in pretty much all previous Superman movies and something many felt would be left out of this reboot altogether.




10 year-old Timberline has previously starred in two films; The Rose and Metanoia.. He is also currently filming Of Men and Mavericks which stars Jonny Weston, Gerard Butler and Elisabeth Shue. This casting has not yet been verified by anyone in the Snyder or WB camp so treat it as a rumor for now.

Also Hair dye does exist. It is true , i know i know... unbelievable but yes, hollywood can actually change the color of a persons hair now. I know from looking at fan casts on here that most people don't believe it is possible, but i am here to tell you it is.

Also does anyone know what I am talking about with the Siegle and Shuster lawsuit. I thought DC lost the rights to the superman origins story, atleast the original superman origins story. Am i crazy or is this real?

Gotcha, cool... Thanks Superman9859. That law suit is a little silly to me. Siegle and shuster did create the most iconic character in comics, but most of the things that now make superman superman came after them.

has anyone realized both Superman's fathers in this film have played Robin Hood? I only just connected the dots and thought about it.

Kid looks kinda like a younger Cavill, obviously needs darker hair though.

Why flashback comments. This is an origin story not an established story Ror? The kid is going to be in the movie ul hear confirmation soon. Btw this site has even more bad rumours than imdb so dont know why every1 keeps sayn never trust imdb? For most castings they usualy get the news b4 cbm.com
