Chloe Sullivan Fans Rally to Save Favorite Smallville Character

Fans honor CW leading lady & Smallville star, Allison Mack, with tribute commercial to air in Los Angeles.

Smallville fans have funded a professionally-filmed tribute commercial for the CW leading lady Allison Mack and her tv character, Chloe Sullivan, to air this Spring in Los Angeles before this season concludes. Starring on Smallville since 2001, Ms. Mack has gained a large and devoted fan base as one of the CW's most beloved stars.

For the completion of her 9th year on the series, Smallville fans decided to celebrate Allison Mack and her tv character, Chloe Sullivan, with a commercial project entitled Legendary. Scripted and funded entirely by fans, this first of its kind tribute ad was filmed in Los Angeles in late February. In the capable hands of the director, Jon Michael Kondrath, cast and crew created a tribute ad focusing on who Chloe Sullivan is and what she means to Smallville fans.

The ad highlights milestones in Chloe Sullivan's journey from her introduction as a high school student in Smallville to being hired at the Daily Planet as well as becoming Clark Kent's confidante.

The website, Legendary (http://www.legendarychloe.com), has been set up for the project. Although the intial goals of the project have been met, the organizers invite other Smallville fans to help them expand the project with longer air time for the ad or airing it in a second tv market.

Earlier this year, Smallville fans participated in Operation: Truth & Justice, another initiative to honor Ms. Mack, in which fans donated $3000 to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation in her name and sent the CW star baskets of fan created gifts in appreciation of her performance."

Now that Rosenbaum is gone, Allison Mack is the only person who can act on Smallville. Chloe is my fav character. Happy to see fans do something nice for her.
Nice that they gave to charity too.

It's great to see Chloe Sullivan and by extension Allison Mack being appreciated. She's the only character keeping me invested in the show, and her performances are a joy to watch; she has such amazing chemistry with all her cast mates.

I wish her all the best in her career, whether it be with Smaillville in Season 10 or in any of her other endeavours. Sky's the limit for her!

honestly i like Chloe, i have no problem with her. and i like how they made her Watchtower (even though it is a bootleg Oracle) but from the looks of things and this past fridays episode i think it will be Tess

This is a FAB idea! I can't wait to see the finished product! Allison is completely deserving of something honouring her work like this and I love how her fans have rallied to make this happen.

Chloe Sullivan is the only reason I watch Smallville. She truly is legendary and I'm glad this ad will showcase just how legendary she really is. Ms Mack deserves much accolades for her work on Smallville.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. :)

It's only true to character if they focus on everything she has done on the show. Including get fired from the DP, become Watchtower, marry Jimmy, and showcases her other relationships on the show, including being cousins with Lois Lane or screwing Oliver Queen... if the "commercial" is just trying to fabricate her journey to make it look like she is still Clark's confidant and DP reporter, then it's completely false. And I'm not holding my breath cause I don't think the REAL Chloe fans, the ones who like her for who she is and not who she isn't any longer, got a say in what goes into this little project.

I have to say I'm happy you found out about this, what the fans of Allison Mack are doing is great!!!

She's one of my favorite actress and sadly, she's actually the only reason why I still watch Smallville, she rocks as an actress, last year when she portrayed Braniac?? wow!!! And every other part of her work in the industry has been amazing as well :)

I love Chloe Sullivan, I'm sad of the way TPTB has been handling the character this past season but Allison is amazing no matter what she's given to work with :D.

I think the commercial is a really cool idea. I hope it influences the show to give Chloe a bit more prominence. I haven't been a big fan of her arc this year, nor Clark's and I think it would do the show world of good to make the heroes heroism the main focus again.

This is a really neat project. I may not have loved Chloe's arc most of this year, but no matter what material she's given, Mack does manage to sell it. After nine amazing years, she deserves the recognition!

Chloe is awesome. She's the only reason I've kept watching the show since Lex left. And a TV-based fan tribute sounds cool, I don't think I've ever heard of anything like it before in other fandoms.

Wonderful! Chloe is one the most interesting character left on the show (Lionel, Lana and Lex left :() Clark arcs has been confusing this year, I'm waiting for the end to see what all this Zod/Blur arc leads on and Allison Mack is one of the most talented young actress on this days on TV (Kristen Kreuk left the show). So yeah this fan from 2001 adores Chloe. Kudos to the people that make this posible. Can't hardly wait!

I'm thrilled to see Allison Mack getting this kind of appreciation, and I can't wait to see it. She's a terrific actress, and I've enjoyed seeing her work over the years. Chloe has also been a delight from the very beginning of the series, largely due to what Allison brings to the role. Very happy for her over here, and eager to see what she brings us next.

Also, MonicaOP, I loved seeing her as Brainiac. Gosh, that scratched my geekiness in more way than one. BRAINIAC!! And then… Chloiac?! *evil laughter*

I have no hatred for Chloe. But if Chloe dies I hope she goes out with a bang, and that she's remembered for something besides being a sidekick. I also think Mack does very well with what little she has to work with in her role.

This is awesome. I love Chloe and her friendship with Clark is the only reason I watch. I hate what they've done to it this year and I hope Allison Mack stays on so they can use season 10 to fix it. Clark needs his bff!

Allison Mack is more than awesome, she is supreme. That child was put in smallville for a reason, from the beginning until now. After watching dooms day,season 8. I gather to saw her true talent and i embrace her everyday. I Love her, She is a true star, and will always be remembered.

Allison Mack's hardcore Chloe fanatics would have to be the ones to give her an ego boost. Everyone else sure as hell won't - she's not that good an actress. Kermit the Frog has more on-screen charisma than she does!
