Well found this on KryptonSite.com- Michael Rosenbaum posted today on Twitter that good news is coming, but that a Smallville return is not in the cards.

"Sorry. It's not Smallville related. I've already stated that I'm not returning. I'd never lead you guys on like that. I appreciate your support," he wrote.

He did, however, reveal he has a funny role in Christian Slater's upcoming FOX TV pilot about a group of computer hackers. More information about that project should be available soon. Additionally, as soon as we know more about Michael's "exciting news" you'll be able to read about it on kryptonsite homepage. Well to me this is some straight up BS! It's only for a couple episode's maybe 2-7 not the whole season, you get paid! right now I havent seen you on anything else! Just come back for the fans! and how the hell is it not Smallville related?

Well it looks like MR just dug his own smallville grave......maybe he'll change his mind.

shhhh@ i agree, he cant seem to make anything last. and i dunno why, his shows arent have as bad as some of the other crap out there, but the budgets ares probably higher i guesse.

hawkngo@ i agree totally. i dont know why he is so opposed to coming back for a few episodes to wrap up the show. i dont get what his frigen deal is. asshole.

appearances are needed with Rosenbaum done

does he not realize Slater is full of fail? Every series hes been in can't even last half a season and he'd rather do a minor role in slater's garbage than get big bucks from smallville and return to the only role that he was actually good at. They cant keep Lex off the show for another season, or even go as far as ending the show without at least one appearance from Lex. They are gonna end up having to recast Lex Luthor for an episode, or have a body double in the shadows sitting at Luthor's desk.

Yeah I always liked Rosenbaum as Lex, even when all around him went to Hell. He should come back for one [frick]ing episode at least. Christian Slater is the king of the hacks.

MR needs to come back, he's not doing much better after having left the show. It doesnt matter, as long as they keep the JSA idea happening then the show will be okay for next season.

I, Jesus, will forgive you Phinehas for once again posting lame comments that hate on Smallville without ever actually commenting on the article. Although every time that you do, part of your soul dies.

Anyway, you guys already said it. He should at least come back for a couple of episodes when they wrap the series up. He was one of the best parts of the show! A little bald cap and he won't even have to shave his head again.

Slater has had some good tv shows I'm watching one on fox rite now even if it is a re-run so what. You think you can do better? and Rosenbaum was in 2 or more movies and he's also in # Dark Sector (2008) (VG) (voice) .... Just because he's not in front of a camera doesn't mean he's not making money! Its smart for him to sit back and wait for that show to to go off air. If they really want to bring Lex back they can do it anyway. Blame they face change on plastic surgery. Getting blown up can have that effect. But I hope he doesn't stay away from CBM movies or TV shows. Looks like a good candidate for Mr. Sinister to me.

He was great in Sorority Boys (I spelled that wrong I think), and it's also in a pretty good movie (and he's funny in that one too) called Poolhall Junkies. Check it out. It's like Rounders, but instead of poker, it's pool :)

what do you call a room full of comic book geeks ? answer: grumpy why because all we ever do is make a bunch of off the cuff complaints ,if the guy wants to grow his hair back let him lets move on ,hell I hate that smallville has not truly evolved into Metroplis or some type of a new show about superman because TW doesn't want to put on the suit and the CW keeps cutting the budget which makes costume and FX crappy and when did clark finish college or where is his mom and other story lines that have been sacraficed for lois and clark the new adventures .... but like all real supes fan i will watch the train wreck till the end ... lol

I AGREE WITH MY MAN SASQUATCH123 OVER HERE, ON MOSTLY EVERYTHING. I DO BELIEVE THE SHOW HAS GONE LAME, BUT THEY SCORED MAJOR POINTS WITH THE JSA STORY ARC, LET'S SEE WHAT'S NEXT, I HOPE ONE DAY WE'LL SEE THE RED/BLUE COSTUME AND THE KENT DUDE ACTUALLY FLYING, BUT HERE'S JUST HOPING, LOLZ.

OK so last I remember Lex looked jacked up before he was supposedly murdered. All they have to do is bring him back from the dead (like the majority of comic book characters that die) and say he had plastic surgery because his injuries were so severe. This way they can hire a different actor to play Lex for the next season. Problem solved for all those who think that Lex should continue to plague Clark. Hell even give him amnesia so he won't remember anything about Clark being what and who he really is. That's a classic fix.
