Great, an alternate reality episode. Yippee.

Gonna be easy to top Patriot though.

Alan Ritchson is a worse actor than Welling.
People who want him for Superman, or Aquaman for that matter, i'm concerned.

How many times can you reference that Aquaman lives in the water in one episode? About a million. Everything out of Lois's mouth toward or about AC or Mera, followed with a stupid fish or water joke. Haha, Smallville made a funny.

funny also how when Clark's in the krypto-cage, when it's first turned on its 'ah, ah, oh no". But when he's talking to Slade he's suddenly able to talk fine.

This was one of the worst eps so for this season.

Does anyone else think that Smallville is headed for a Crisis?

It might just be me, because I just finished reading the novelizations of Infinite Crisis and Final Crisis, but it seems an awful lot like the writer's are plucking things out of the Crisis stories.

Darkseid and the New Gods possessing people=Final Crisis
People on Earth become more violent and hateful=Infinite Crisis
Now it looks like "Luthor" is going to show a parallel Earth=Crisis on Infinite Earths/Infinite Crisis

It seems an awful lot to me like SV is setting up their own crisis.

@itbegins2005- The name would only be an issue if the story is that Lionel found Kal-El first, if the story is that something happened to the Kents, or Lionel took him from them, then the name could still work.

Should be epic, though i am a little confused, I’m sure they will explain more in the episode…..but that’s cool either way… May be the real Lex will be back on……and what one has the omega symbol i ant remember. Bodyquick

I'm curious... if he was raised by the Luthors, why would his name be Clark? That is Martha's maiden name and should have no significance to the Luthor family. (I know it's to simplify things, but it's the little things that really matter)

Maybe Lionel liked the name clark.

@ deadpool

it was typical smallville. clark's optimistic but still scared. AC was billy badass, but then gives in to Clark. Lois was a whiney girlfriend. alot of like 5 mintute coversations between 2 people. end of the episode was with waht seemed like 10 minutes of talk between lois and clark about why they want to be together.

bore me to death.

oh, and they dont say a word about tess being a luthor. if im not mistaken, the very last thing we found out in the previous episode was that tess was a luthor. not a word is said about it in this episode. nothing screams filler episodes more than forgetting where you left off.

marvel72 - 11/20/2010, 12:18 PM
@ superman8

didn't luthor & tess do shit that brothers & sisters aren't meant to do. :@

if its alright for lucas to do it in star wars,i suppose its alright in smallville. :D
HarrisonBergeron
HarrisonBergeron - 11/20/2010, 1:23 PM
Tess hasn't told the League that she is a Fury, she hasn't told them about Alexander/Lex's clone, why would she tell them she is a Luthor?
Superman8
Superman8 - 11/20/2010, 1:40 PM
@ deadpool

im gonna pretend you didnt just use star wars and smallville in the same sentence lol.

@ harrison

im not saying she should have told them in the last episode.

im saying they didnt even mention it. no flashbacks, nothing. im just saying, tess felt awfully focused and normal considering she just found out a whole lot of shit last episode.

I think this is a interesting take on the Ultraman character the only thing I don't like is it would have been better if there was a good Lex for bad Clark to play off of.

yeah mate,my bad with the star wars refrence. :(

but you know what i was hinting at,its just wrong. :D

@Superman8- If we are questioning the things not mentioned in "Patriot" Lex is getting older at a rate that should have had him at least as a teen by Friday's episode, I think that is more relevant than Tess's genealogy.
