Smallville: "Pandora" Clip

Smallville: "Pandora" Clip

The CW has released a new clip from this Friday's "Pandora" episode of Smallville. Although taking place in Lois' dreams, it suggests she's having a vision of the future in which earth's sun has been turned red. The implication is that while Clark would be made powerless in such a situation, the Kandorians would obtain their powers.

As fans of this much-improved season will know, the Kandorians are clones of the originals and were sent to earth so that the race would survive, but they were genetically encoded NOT to have the powers they would normally have under a yellow sun. Presumably somebody figures out that the opposite would be true if the sun blazed red.

Look for the cool visual of Clark's shirt with the "S" emblem empaled on a post -- straight out of Superman's battle with Doomsday (not suggesting this has ANYTHING to do with Doomsday). One question, though: why does Lois refer to "The Blur" as the "Red and Blue Blur"?

Right, but this season there hasn't been a sigh of red or blue on him and since this is a dream and not a flashback... oh, wait, maybe Lois dreams in red & blue?

I really hope that this storyline isnt going to drag on until the end of the season - its not that intereting for a start and look how Doomsday turned out after they stretched that out for 22 episodes!

@ josh .. i no what you mean i dnt no why but i have a feeling thair is guna be a huge let down by the end of this season i hope not but i think they will do somethink to spoil it maby they will bring back Doomsday

Roscoe182: Ugh, I hope not - that was bad enough the first time around (Clark beat him by basically grabbing him, jumping in the air and dropping him in a whole...the majority of which was off-screen - epic, huh?) Besides we've seen Clark with no powers before so this wont be anything new! Despite the pile of good but pointless cameos this season its actually been pretty good so far. They should wrap this storyline up mid-season and focus on getting Clark nearer to becoming Superman!

teabag: Yeah, that just about sums it up, lol! In this seasons first episode Clark even asked Jor-El why he still couldnt fly....six episodes later and he still cant fly! They just tease it in every seasons first and last episode which after 9 years is [frick]ing ridiculous! Dean Cain could fly... ;(

Now 'Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' was what I called a Superman TV show! I can only hope and pray that we get something as awesome as that someday soon! :)

teabag: LMAO! :D Exactly! And despite the flaws you mention it was still a better show than Smallville for the most part! Just imagine how awesome it would have been if Smallville was more like Lois & Clark - CGI and everything has moved on so much since that show ended it would be epic seeing a suited up SUPERMAN each week on TV! Instead we get a trenchcoat and a t-shirt..!

haha, im sorry but every time anyone even mentions Dean Cain as Superman I automatically assume they are taking the piss. My God he was just awful. He looked like the [frick]ing Fonz for Christs sake! He was only short of pulling out a comb and greasing his hair back. That show was cheese personified..as bad as Smallville can be, its never reached the depths of "Lois And Clarke"..lol, I mean people complain that Superman Returns focused too much on the relationship between the 2? Thats all that show was. And Lex?? Don't even get me started..anyway, not a fan:)

teabag: Lol, the only way I'd watch that is they killed her off every week South Park style! :)

What annoys me most about Chloe is that they clearly ran out of ideas for the character as soon as she left high school and stopped being Lois Lite! First she had healing powers, then she was infected by Brainiac, then she had the hots for Doomsday and now she's a super genius who has amazing hacking skills! LAME!!! Just kille the waste of space off already! ;D

@EdGross- This is a flashback from when Lois went into the future and the end of last season.

Why does that other Kryptonian have powers under the red sun?

Dean Cain was even more of a joke than that Hawkman outfit we will be seeing soon.

I like the way they have used Chloe's character this season. She has been apparently doing lots without much screen time, which is good. I think it makes the show more realistic (I know, its about a superhero alien) when characters do things that are not actually on screen.

Why are their two front page articles about the same clip?
