All-Star Superman was a twelve-issue mini-series written Grant Morrison and drawn by Frank Quitely, that ran from November 2005 to October 2008. Now Warner Bros. has announced that it will be getting an animated adaption.


The film is scheduled for release in spring 2011. The film will be written by Dwayne McDuffie, who described the series as "One of the greatest stories in comic book history."
