I must admit to being a sucker for the Teen Titans cartoon which ran from 2003 to 2006. Sure it was fairly kiddie at times, but good fun. Now on March 3rd, Cartoon Network debuts DC Nation and the Titans will be back in a series of shorts. IGN have the following clip..

DC Nation will premiere Saturday, March 3rd at 10am on Cartoon Network.

That animation has become even more kiddie looking..yeah it's lost it's appeal I guess, but c'mon, who didn't love that show at some point?

It was one of the best shows Cartoon Network had one, I'm truly disappointed that they didn't get a chance to finish the story involving Terra returning to life, the strange villain they fault was an interesting one but they never gave them a chance to finish. With this string of DC centric animated programing, they could have given us a brand new continuation but sadly that ain't the case since they now have Young Justice. They should really give us the promised Judas Contract animated film, not the abridged and butchered "kid friendly" version that we got on TV.

The Titans show could be really silly at times, and I wasn't crazy about the 'faux anime' look of it, but they did some very good stories on it also. I loved the whole last season with the Brotherhood of Evil. Great stuff! I'll check this new Titans show out.

I'm with ComicCritic87- I'd love to see a serious Judas Contract animated film.

They jacked my idea, back in the 90's I loved spiderman & the x-men series. I always thought they should have made Marvel Comics presents & have like 2 or 3 episode stories on different heroes or heroes that weren't as popular as spidey & wolvie. Money was a little tight for a 10yr old so characters like Moon Knight, Daredevil, Iron Fist & so on who I thought looked cool & intresting I couldn't afford their books or they didn't have a series at that time. I can't wait to check this out it could be f'n sweet!

Eh. I can live without this. Pretty cool that a new generation of kids will be turned on to comics culture, though. They need to find a way to bridge this programming with the comics that spawned it and get asses in shops.

Does anybody know why Kid Flash was never included in this line up?

Great news!!! Unfortunately the video is not playing. I loved the hell out of this show, so glad to see it return with the cast. It was written to be fun and had a lot of heart to it. Always left me laughing. Batman B&B kind of filled that void, but not quite. Great writing in a very fun style.

@hawksblueyes

The same question can be asked for why Donna Troy (Wonder Girl) wasn't included in the show and why the whole Jericho - Deathstroke relations wasn't even touched on? Apparently something about wanting to focus on just the core 5 members and not everybody else, inspite of other animated programs previous and concurrent to that show that manage to do so.

That clip was wonderful.

Teen Titans was and shall always be my favorite animated DC Comics show. It was marvelous! I'm sorry it didn't last but I trust that Young Justice shall continue to fill the void in my heart left by Teen Titans as it a great show as well but I'm happy that Teen Titans is coming back in these DC Nation shorts.

Hopefully Raven will end up as a permanent character in Young Justice as she is the main reason I watched Teen Titans anyway. I also heard that The CW is getting a Raven show btw along with Green Arrow.

Teen Titans was a good show. As a big Timmverse fan, it was one of the few DC animated shows that hooked me that didn't have Bruce Timm's name attached (aka - never got into The Batman, The Brave and the Bold, Young Justice, etc...)
