'Bebop' & 'Rocksteady' Confirmed For TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Sequel

They were supposed to appear in the first movie, and various producers and writers have said they'd love to include them in the sequel, but now during Paramount Pictures’ CinemaCon panel it's been confirmed that Shredder's dull-witted henchmen will definitely be showing up...

It seems the mutated warthog (Bebop) and rhino (Rocksteady) TMNT villains will indeed be causing problems for the Heroes in a Half Shell in the upcoming sequel to the recent live-action reboot. This won't be too surprising to fans of the franchise, as the characters were originally supposed to show up in the first film but were cut because of perceived overcrowding. Bebop and Rocksteady weren't actually original comic creations, and made their debut in the '80s cartoon -- but they've gone on to become two of the most popular Turtles baddies out there; and were recently responsible for an incredibly shocking moment in the current comic series.

No word on which actors will bring life to these beasts, but they'll join Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, and newcomer Stephen Amell as Casey Jones. Teenage Mutant Turtles 2 (working title "Half-Shell") is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2016.
