THE FLASH episode 'All-Star Team-Up' gets even more fun! Could Villain be JUSTICE LEAGUE foe Queen Bee?

TV Line teases the Villain for "All-Star Team-Up" on 'The Flash,' and she sounds like Justice League foe Queen Bee. Hit the jump and see if you agree.

As reported by Matt Webb Metrovitch over at TVLine.com, “Episode 18 [of The Flash] will unleash on Central City a bee-a-utiful tech wizard who rocks oversized shades and red lipstick… and has devised a clever-slash-amoral-slash-wildly unstable scheme to weaponize bee-sized ‘bots.

In prior incarnations in the comics, the Justice League have faced off against a Queen Bee who is clever, amoral, attractive and has large eye coverings, resembling the compound eyes of many flying insects. So the description of the character is very similar.  Also in the comics, Queen Bee employed weaponized insectoid robots as one of her means of attacking the League and conquering cities on Earth.

This reminds me of Grant Morrison's glory days on JLA. If this is Queen Bee, I'm very excited.

Even if it isn't Queen Bee, I have confidence in the producers, writers, cast and crew over at CW's 'The Flash' to make this an outstanding episode, since it already has Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer and Emily Bett Rickard's Felicity Smoak as guest stars.

Now we will not only get to see see Cisco and Barry geek-out over Ray and his ATOM suit, while Caitlyn and Felicity gush excitedly over their Returned (by then) love interests, we also get an interesting villain. Congratulations to 'The Flash;' well done!

Too much editorializing, and the giant font for the single quote in the article is an eyesore.

But a good find, nonetheless.

@Gusto, thanks.
I guess it's the fourth time that's a charm. And writing about something the Webmasters don't have dibs on.

@MercwithMouth, thanks for the constructive criticism about the font. I'll fix it.

@MercwithMouth, I tried to fix the font, but it didn't take.
Next time, I'll remember that.

@ChrisStMartin: Try, "Could JUSTICE LEAGUE Villain 'Queen Bee' Be In THE FLASH's "All-Star Team-Up"?"

There's a reason that every article on the main page uses that formatting, has a proper teaser image and more than a single line of teaser text. Unnecessarily large font isn't needed in the main body either.

And, as far as the pictures go...You'll either want to try and find wider pictures or learn how to code them in so the text comes in beside. Otherwise you end up with all that dead space in the top half of your article. With the proper formatting, it gives it a more professional, cleaner look.

And make sure with your titles and teasers, that any names of movies or comic books are done in ALL CAPS. It's one of the sticking points for the editors.

@JoshWilding, thanks for the pointers on this one. And no hard feelings about the Paul Bettany article that was pulled down this morning. As I recall it was sh1t. A couple of lines of sub-par prose, with twenty lines of quotes and no commentary? That's the last time I hit 'post' on something at 0400 local time. I'm glad you pulled it down.

I did a rewrite on the Paul Bettany story that other users are discussing in the comments on your Paul Bettany article. Another editor pulled it down around the time you put yours up. He didn't realize that I was doing a rewrite. No problem, here. I'm the new guy. I'm paying my dues.

You've cited me several times for not including a 'proper teaser image.' Is that the Article uploading tool calls a 'Thumbnail?'

I was using the large font for quotes, but I get it, I'll just go from 12 point to 14 point and bold the quotes, instead of going from Arial 12 to Bookman Antiqua 18 for quotes.

Cheers

St Martin
