In order to become The Flash again, Barry is going to have to recreate the particle accelerator explosion which gave him his powers in the first place, but what kind of deadly consequences could that end up having? Time will tell on that front, but below you will find a sneak peek at what's to come when the team attempts to reunite the former Fastest Man Alive with the Speed Force in order to stop Zoom.

Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) arrives back on Earth-1 intent on taking over Central City. Barry (Grant Gustin) and Wells (Tom Cavanagh) come up with a plan to stop Zoom once and for all but it’s extremely dangerous. Unsure if he should take the risk, Barry reaches out to both fathers for advice. Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipps) is adamantly opposed to Barry risking his life again but Joe (Jesse L. Martin) thinks he can handle it which puts the two men at odds with each other. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is shocked when he vibes the Earth-2 villain Rupture, who happens to be his brother Dante’s (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez) doppelganger. Rupture came to this Earth seeking justice for Reverb’s death. Iris (Candice Patton) decides she’s finally ready to open up to Barry about her feelings for him. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Kai Yu Wu & Lauren Certo.

I had a feeling we were due for a 'nothing happens' episode- but I just watched an hour of the fastest man alive taking the bus.

I've liked this season but its LIMPING TO THE FINISH LINE

It's felt so dragged out this year and replayed a lot of what season one did.

does anybody noticed how Ezra bulked up for the role of the Flash ? imo it looks really weird because he will be playing a "running" type of superhero, not Batman or Superman.

So Earth-2 is preety much conquered (according to Zoom), so he's taking Caitlin "home"... Another Earth perhaps? Confirming my suspicion that the man in the iron mask is the real Jay Garrick. The only question I have is, will Teddy Sears (Zoom) be playing the REAL Jay Garrick, or will it be John Wesley Shipp (Henry Allen)?

I was under the impression Jay was taking Caitlin back to Earth 1 to conquer that world as well.

I'm going to say this once fan theory, and people may call me dumb. I figured out who the man in the Iron Mask is Leonardo Dicaprio jk. It is John Wesley Ship as the Barry Allen from the original TV show. When reverb was alive Zoom went to that world captured Barry Allen stole that Flash speed.

@marveldc4life Zoom couldn't steal speed without Well's help. So it is unlikely he stole another Flash's speed.

Why would Zoom feel something for Caitlin when it was a copy who spent time with her on Earth 1? Why would he share memories?
