It's been a while since The Flash director Andy Muschietti shared anything related to the Scarlet Speedster's solo debut to social media, but the filmmaker has now taken to Instagram to give his followers a glimpse of the Central City set.

Muschietti captioned the shot "Central City at midnight," inviting us to catch a night-time glimpse of a corner of Barry Allen's stomping grounds while holding the Fastest Man Alive's lighting bolt emblem in front of the camera.

As far as we're aware, no further reshoots for The Flash have been scheduled, so this is most likely a shot from an earlier point in the movie's production. Then again, Muschietti may have simply revisited the set to shoot a few pickups.

Could he be teasing something here? The first full trailer is expected to debut during Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, Feb. 12, but we could get a poster or some official stills in the interim.

Check out the image below.

We've heard that the movie went over very well in test screenings, and a recent trade report claimed that the Andy Muschietti-helmed superhero adventure has "tested through the roof," with one source praising the film as “Spider-Man: No Way Home good.”

Though no official synopsis has been released, The Flash will be (loosely) based on the Flashpoint comic book arc, and is still set to serve as a "reset" of sorts for the WBD franchise - although we're sure James Gunn and Peter Safran have made an all-new plan for the post-Flash DCU.

The Flash recently moved its release date up by one week, and is now set to race into theaters on June 16, 2023.
