From the trailers and previews I thought that Odin would be arrogant and overly angry when he cast Thor out of Asgard, but now this changes things, I see the true sadness in his actions. He took no pleasure in sending his son away, and that makes him more human in my eyes.

The great about this movie is the respect for the comic books, and the feel of real emotions in each character. The center of all its the relationship between the members of a family.... beyond they are gods or humans. And that love, consideration, envy, or admiration its something who everyone can understand.
I read Thor for years and as a fan iam very happy for the treatment of the material.
Now to wait The Avengers ...but first Cap America!!!
